Vintage 1980s Petite Rolodex (Model S-310 C)
Vintage 1980s Petite Rolodex (Model S-310 C)
Let me tell you about my latest vintage office supply obsession: vintage Rolodex. Yes, seriously! These little analog card files are so cool. Originally the Rolodex was used as an analog address book to keep track of your contacts' phone numbers, addresses, and other pertinent contact information. In today's digital world, you will find Rolodex being used for all sorts of interesting purposes - including their original purpose! My favorite upcycled uses for a vintage Rolodex include as a recipe index, memory keeper (great for scrapbookers!), password keepers, and as art or junk journals.
Rolodex - Model S-310 C. Made in USA. This model was produced in the late 1980s by Rolodex Corp. This petite Rolodex is beige with a smoke gray cover to keep your cards private and dust-free on your desk. Base has little rubber feet to keep it from sliding. Comes with all of its original alphabet divider cards and 85 blank Rolodex cards.
Dimensions: 5.5" long by 4.25" wide; 2.75" tall. Takes cards that are 4" wide by 2.25" tall.
In excellent vintage condition. No missing pieces or broken parts. Cards glide smoothly. As this Rolodex is secondhand, there is minor wear given its age and normal use. The blank cards do have small stains on the top edge - see fourth photo showing the blank card style.
