Coffee Tea Mimi specializes in one-of-a-kind finds, which means there is no back stock. Please review the policies below, as all sales are final. If you have any questions, please email hello@coffeeteamimi.com.

Vintage & Secondhand Disclaimer

All items are vintage or secondhand. They've aged gracefully. Items may have imperfections, chips, scratches, and/or general wear and tear.  This is called "patina." Patina tells the story of how an item has been used and loved throughout its life, adding character. 

I inspect each item before adding it to the shop. I describe any flaws/imperfections in the item description and document these in the item photos. Items are priced according to their condition. 

I strive to include the maker/brand of vintage items and any relevant attributes. This is determined using maker's marks and research. I cannot guarantee 100% accuracy.

Cancellations

I accept cancellations within 12 hours of the order being placed. Please email hello@coffeeteamimi.com to cancel an order.

Shipping Policies

Currently, I do not ship orders outside the US and Canada. If you are located elsewhere and interested in an item for purchase, please email me so I can better assist you.

Shipping

Shipping is as calculated. Shipping rates take into consideration your shipping zone (location) and the dimensional weight of the package. 

For US customers, all shipping is via UPS Ground, USPS Priority Mail, or USPS Ground Advantage. All orders have tracking. My shipping methods automatically include up to $100 insurance. For orders over $100, your order will be insured for the total purchase price of your item(s).

For Canadian customers, all shipping is via UPS Worldwide or USPS Priority Mail International. All orders have tracking. My shipping methods automatically include up to $100 insurance. For orders over $100, your order will be insured for the total purchase price of your item(s). You are responsible for any customs taxes associated with your order.

I use PirateShip for my shipping labels. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number once your order has shipped. Most orders ship within 3 business days. Orders do not ship on Sundays or holidays.

PROCESSING & SHIPPING TIMES

Shipping times are estimated below, based on shipping service:

  • UPS Ground = 1-5 business days
  • USPS Priority Mail = 1-3 business days
  • USPS Ground Advantage = 2-5 business days
  • UPS Worldwide Expedited = 2-5 business days
  • UPS Worldwide Saver = 1-3 business days
  • USPS Priority Mail International = 6-10 business days

Need something ASAP? I am happy to accommodate express shipping requests. Please email hello@coffeeteamimi.com for an express shipping quote. For US customers I ship via UPS Next Day Air, UPS 2nd Day Air, or USPS Priority Mail Express. For Canadian customers I ship via UPS Worldwide Express. 

DAMAGED/BROKEN IN-TRANSIT POLICY

All items are carefully wrapped and packaged by hand. I acknowledge that sometimes, despite my best efforts, items may arrive damaged or broken. If you receive a damaged or broken item, please file a claim through the shipping carrier.

You will need to retain the damaged packaging and item(s) until your claim has been processed. Be sure to take photos of all sides of the exterior of the box, interior packing materials, and detailed photos of the damage to the item - this is  required for your claim submission

LOST IN-TRANSIT POLICY

You will be provided a tracking number once your item has shipped. If an item is lost in-transit*, please email hello@coffeeteamimi.com for next steps.

*Lost In-Transit means, the shipment tracking is showing the item “en route" several days past the estimated arrival date.

MISSING OR STOLEN PACKAGES POLICY

Once the shipment carrier has marked an item "delivered," Coffee, Tea, Mimi has no ability to track items further. Please file a claim through the shipping carrier.

Regrettably, I am unable to offer refunds for missing or stolen packages. 

SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING

All orders are packed by me. To be as sustainable as possible, I re-use shipping materials saved by friends and family. Be on the look out for a re-used box! I encourage you to re-use the box and packing materials, or offer them to someone else looking for packing materials.
