Make a statement with this unique vintage wool coat! A beautiful glen plaid - also known as the Prince of Wales check. Single-breasted with beautiful marbled buttons and buckle detailing at the cuff. A stylish overcoat to add to your winter wardrobe!

Made by Strawbridge & Clothier. This wool coat was likely custom cut for its original owner! Features two exterior slip pockets and two interior slip pockets. Lined in a gorgeous pale green satin. The long length will ensure that you stay cozy and warm, despite the cold and wind.

I believe this coat is likely from the 1960s/1970s based on its style and when Strawbridge & Clothier operated. It was also likely made in the USA; however, there are no tags.

No size tag. Based on the measurements, I'd say this is closest to a modern Men's Size 48 - best fitting a Size XL or XXL.

Measurements (taken laying flat):

  • Chest = 25"
  • Shoulders = 20"
  • Waist = 25"
  • Length (shoulder to hem) = 41.5"
  • Sleeve Length (cuff to shoulder) = 25.5"

In good vintage condition. This coat has been professionally dry cleaned. No stains, holes, rips, or tears in the exterior. Interior lining has significant wear and is becoming threadbare - particularly under the armpits. No holes in the pocket linings. Priced according to condition.

Ships from a smoke free, dog friendly home!
