Set of 3 Vintage 1950s/1960s Federal Glass Sportsman Flat Tumbler Glasses
Set of 3 Vintage 1950s/1960s Federal Glass Sportsman Flat Tumbler Glasses
This is a particular hunting cabin kitsch to these vintage Collins glasses, and they feel like the perfect glass for a cocktail cozied up next to a warm fire. Each glass features a different wild game bird and a platinum rim.
This set includes the following birds: Canada Goose, Ring Necked Pheasant, and Canvasback.
Maker: Federal Glass
Pattern: Sportsman
Production Time Period: 1950s through 1960s
Glass Shape: Flat Tumbler (Collins or Highball Glass)
Dimensions: 5.5" tall and 2.75" diameter. Holds 10 oz.
In very good vintage condition. No chips or cracks. Glasses are vintage and do show minor wear consistent with age and use. The platinum rims are in excellent condition and are largely intact. The Canada Goose glass is cloudy and has minor scratches - see fourth photo. The set is priced to reflect condition.
How to Care For: Hand wash in lukewarm water with mild detergent. Rinse in same temperature water and hand dry. Do not place in dishwasher, as this will remove the platinum rim and game bird design.
Please let your glasses come to room temperature after enjoying a chilled drink before washing! Vintage glassware is extremely temperature sensitive and going from cold to warm can "shock" the glass causing it to shatter.
