Set of 4 Vintage Anchor Hocking Hand Painted Wooden Lid Glass Canisters
Set of 4 Vintage Anchor Hocking Hand Painted Wooden Lid Glass Canisters
This set of four glass canisters are vintage Anchor Hocking - you will see they have the small anchor marking on their bottoms. They feature wooden lids (likely teak wood) with gaskets, and each wooden lid has a hand-painted drawing on it signed with the artist's initials.
These are food safe canisters; however, due to their age the current gaskets have become dried out and no longer airtight (these could be replaced). If using them for food storage, I recommend keeping your items within an airtight bag.
Dimensions:
- Large Canister: 5.25" tall; 3.5" diameter
- 3 Small Canisters: 3.5" tall; 3.5" diameter
In very good vintage condition. No chips or cracks. Gaskets are quite worn out though and need replacing to be airtight. One of the strawberry lids has a bit of chipped paint.
How to Care For: Wash the glass bottoms in lukewarm water with mild detergent and rinse with same temperature water. Do not submerge wooden lid; wipe clean with damp cloth.
