Vintage Mid-Century Modern Silver Rim Double Spouted Cocktail Mixing Glass
Vintage Mid-Century Modern Silver Rim Double Spouted Cocktail Mixing Glass
A beautiful vintage double spouted cocktail mixing glass that is the perfect addition to your home bar, especially for Atomic Era fans! This mixing glass is tall and straight, and would be perfect for stirring up some martinis.
There are no maker's marks and I was unable to identify the pattern, but I suspect the glass maker is likely Libbey. I believe this mixing glass would have originally been a part of a set, complete with a caddy and matching glasses.
Maker: Unknown
Pattern: Unknown - the silver band rim style was quite popular and is often attributed in vintage finds as "Dorothy Thorpe style"
Production Time Period: Circa 1950s/1960s based on the design
Glass Shape: Cocktail Mixing Glass
Dimensions: 9.5" tall; 3" diameter
In excellent vintage condition. No chips or cracks. The silver rim shows very minor wear and is intact! As this mixing glass is secondhand, there are minor signs of wear to the glass consistent with normal use. The tiny bubbles are normal imperfections arising from the production process of vintage glass.
How to Care For: Hand wash in lukewarm water and rinse in same temperature water. Do not place in dishwasher.
Please let your mixing glass come to room temperature before washing. Vintage glassware is extremely temperature sensitive and going from cold to warm can "shock" the glass causing it to shatter.
